The argument against MQLs being used as a metric of success
Should MQLs be killed? Well yes and no, it depends on the context. As a prioritization tool they are great but putting too much emphasis on them is deadly and can severely limit your marketing team's effectiveness and decision making.
Why? - They are a guess - They can be manipulated - Your MQL>Pipeline % is probably very low - Marketing should be a revenue driver and be able to prove it.
